Open to students who are thinking about studying abroad or are about to, this series of events held in mid-September encourages you to engage with study abroad alumni and KSU on various topics in international education.

Study Abroad in a Flash! Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Short-Term Programs | 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. | Interested in studying abroad and looking for a short-term program (1-3 weeks)? Join us to learn about the exciting Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer programs available to you! These programs are perfect for everyone from Freshmen to Seniors, and several options are open to all majors! Health Immersion in Geneva, Switzerland | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. | Learn about the 2026 Global Health Immersion in Geneva, Switzerland program. This is a unique opportunity to spend two weeks in May in beautiful Switzerland exploring health priorities, policies and practices from a global perspective while soaking up new cultural experiences. Particularly relevant for students in public health, nursing, medicine, podiatry, nutrition, allied health, pre-health (medicine, dentistry), environmental sciences, biological sciences, anthropology, international development, and international relations. |
Journey to Japan: Summer 2026 - Information Session | 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Bowman 218 | This is an opportunity to learn more about a short-term summer study abroad program in Japan. The faculty-led Journey to Japan: Past and Present program takes you to Japan to learn important aspects of its culture and history. You will spend four days in Tokyo, four days in Kyoto, and two days in Osaka and Nara. |

Grow Your Career in Asia: Bamboo Planting | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Location: KSU Student Center 310 | Pot your own bamboo plant and learn about internship opportunities in Asia + a scholarship up to $6,500! Participants will receive a pot, soil, and a bamboo stalk to plant. They can also decorate their pots with paint. Participants should . The Myths of Study Abroad | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Bowman 122 | Have you ever thought that you were not able to study abroad? Maybe you thought it was too expensive, it wouldn't fit your academic schedule, you couldn't be away from home for that long, or you didn't have time to travel. If you have had any of these thoughts, come join us as we talk about the Myths of Study Abroad. Get the Scoop on ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Florence Summer Programs | 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. DI Hub Lobby | The ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Florence Center has amazing opportunities for students to spend their summer living and learning in Florence, Italy. Grab a scoop of Gelato and get the scoop on all of the great programs offered including the Florence Summer Institute, Florence Health Institute, and the Hospitality and Event Management Practicum. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with professors who will teach in Florence, students who have studied in Florence in past summers, and staff from the Education Abroad office who can answer any questions about the experience. |
