Over the weekend, a Southwest Airlines flight was forced to turn back for an emergency landing after an incident where the plane is believed to have experienced bird strikes to an engine and the aircraft鈥檚 nose. But, what is a bird strike? And how do we reduce the risk of bird strikes? Syed A.M. Blue, Gold and Oh So Grateful

Now referred to as Kent Card, the Blue, Gold and Grateful employee appreciation program is still going strong. Employees appreciate receiving their $20 Kent Card, which can be spent at participating downtown businesses, and in turn downtown businesses enjoy the influx of customers and thousands of dollars.
