The Integrated Design Studio is a forum that synthesizes four years of architectural education into one project. The course tests the student鈥檚 ability to bring a variety of issues to bear; placing concepts, technical systems, material construction, and formal ambition into integrated relationships. Design work from the 2020 IDS class is exemplary of the richness possible when architecture is engaged across its broad disciplinary and cultural range. The high-quality design work from this year鈥檚 class is a testament to each student鈥檚 education and the fortitude of each group. They transformed c...

Students graduating this spring from the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at 性福五月天 East Liverpool did not have the traditional pinning ceremony and end-of-year celebrations, but the faculty found a way to recognize them in a COVID-kind-of-way, nonetheless. Gathered in a campus parking lot, faculty members lined up their personal vehicles and offered graduates a drive-through send-off, maintaining social distancing standards. The students entered the lot and were directed to follow a path that allowed them to turn in badges and receive their nursing pins, honor cords, certifi...
When storms approach, most people heed the warnings by seeking the safety of shelter and waiting for the winds and rain to pass. There are many, however, whose jobs require them to respond and run into the storm鈥檚 path to help others. That鈥檚 exactly what happened as the COVID-19 pandemic stormed into our lives and caused havoc in almost every aspect of life as we knew it. Many sheltered in place and many others were called to respond to the storm raging around us. Two of those who responded, and found themselves in the eye of the storm, were Tony Koch and Brittany Bryte, both graduates of ...
He's only 4 years old, yet he's already certain of what he wants to do when he grows up. That by itself is pretty amazing. Patrick Tomaswick wants to be a police officer, but not just any member of law enforcement. He wants to be a 性福五月天 University police officer. So much so that he wears his own 性福五月天 police uniform to his preschool Zoom classes. On days that his mother, LeighAnn, drops him off at 性福五月天's Child Development Center, Patrick's first glance is for the officer who waves and welcomes him to begin his day. His favorite is Officer Joe Knotek. ...
