Rewiring the Anxious Brain

Feeling stuck in anxiety mode? It鈥檚 not about 鈥渏ust thinking positive鈥濃攊t鈥檚 about training your brain to be more resilient and adaptable. In this CAPS workshop, you鈥檒l discover how stress and anxiety actually work in the brain, and pick up practical strategies to feel more in control (and less overwhelmed). Using cognitive-behavioral tools, you鈥檒l learn how to break free from unhelpful thought loops and practice creating new, healthier ways of thinking. With practice and repetition, you can literally rewire your brain and improve how you look & feel.

Want stronger, healthier connections? In this virtual interactive CAPS workshop, you鈥檒l explore what makes relationships thrive, learn how to recognize red flags, and pick up practical tips for building habits that make your friendships, dating life, and campus connections more fulfilling.

CAED Lecture Series and Exhibition: Krysztof Wodiczko

Join the College of Architecture and Environmental Design for the Fall 2025 Lecture Series as Krysztof Wodiczko presents 鈥淐ultural Prosthetics: Instrumentations鈥-a Schroth Workshop Exhibition. Krzysztof Wodiczko lives and works in New York City, Cambridge, Massachusetts and Warsaw, Poland. He is renowned for his large-scale projections on architectural facades and monuments. He has realized more than 90 projections in 20 countries. Includes Gallery Conversation with Isabel Farnsworth, Eli Kessler, Sung Ho Kim, Brendan Ho and Jon Yoder.

LaunchNET's Fashion Brunch

Join us for LaunchNET's first-ever Fashion Brunch, featuring industry panelists. We are pleased to welcome Deanna First, Jenna Elise Alexander, and Bana Tesfai. Deanna is a fashion illustrator in NYC, working with Dior, Tiffany, Chanel, and more, specializing in luxury events. Jenna is the founder of Soul Vision Co., a psychedelic streetwear brand based in Columbus, Ohio. Bana of Ban脿 La Mode offers custom dresses and alterations with an Eritrean and Ethiopian influence.

Beyond the Dorm

Join us for an interactive event designed to help students build essential skills for independent living, from cooking basics to navigating housing and community resources. Through hands-on activities and challenges, students gain practical knowledge to thrive beyond campus life. Students who participate in this trivia will also be entered into a drawing to win a gift card to the 性福五月天 Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

Lecture is followed by a discussion panel with Cat Soergel Marshall and Taraneh Meshkani.

Join the College of Architecture and Environmental Design for the Fall 2025 Lecture Series as Liam Young presents 鈥淧lanetary Imaginaries.鈥 Liam Young is an Australian born architect who operates in the spaces between design, fiction, and futures. He is founder of the think tank Tomorrows Thoughts Today, a group whose work explores the possibilities of fantastic, speculative and imaginary urbanisms. Lecture is followed by a discussion panel with Kristen Kreider, James O'Leary, Bilgesu Sisman, Vahid Vahdat, and Jon Yoder.
