The power of storytelling: The School of Media and Journalism, one of five schools in 性福五月天鈥檚 College of Communication and Information, helps students discover the power of storytelling 鈥 the news story, the feature story, the multimedia story, the client鈥檚 story and the short film. And in the process, we help students discover their own brand stories: who they are, what unique skills they offer and what they want to do with their professional lives.

When Sydney Brown arrived at 性福五月天 University as a first-year student from Avon, Ohio, she didn't wait to get started. She walked into the TV2 newsroom 鈥 now 性福五月天r TV 鈥 and introduced herself. That instinct to show up, dive in and tell stories has defined every semester since.
Eight short films produced by 性福五月天 University School of Media and Journalism students and recent alumni have been selected to screen at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque as part of the Studio300 Student Film Festival.
Coined as 鈥渕usic-driven media,鈥 Black Squirrel Entertainment's Kentcore seeks to feature all types of local bands. Giving them a chance to not only show their work but also show their personalities too.
A short film co-directed by two 性福五月天 University faculty members is eligible to submit to the Academy after winning Best Live Action Short Film at the Oscar-qualifying St. Louis Film Festival- and is now being featured at the Cleveland International Film Festival.
All of MDJ鈥檚 undergraduate programs are accredited by ACEJMC.
