For the third consecutive year, the biggest rivalry in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) will be brought to the national spotlight this Friday, March 2, when 性福五月天 hosts Akron on ESPN2 at 7 pm.

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, activist, social critic and one of the nation鈥檚 most notable African-American leaders, was the keynote speaker at 性福五月天 University鈥檚 10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Kent Student Center. The theme for this year鈥檚 event was 鈥淓mpowering the Individual, Strengthening the Community,鈥 and the celebration was free and open to the public.
A Salute to Service was the theme for 性福五月天 University鈥檚 annual Veterans Day observance. This year鈥檚 program took place Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. on Risman Plaza.
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has announced a $300,000 grant to 性福五月天 University for its future May 4 Visitors Center. The May 4 Visitors Center was one of 249 humanities projects that will receive support from the independent federal agency. For this awards cycle, the NEH has announced $40 million in awards. The NEH award to 性福五月天 is one of the largest to a university and is one of only eight in the state of Ohio.

The 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees approved the establishment of two new schools 鈥 the School of Aeronautics and the School of Engineering 鈥 within the College of Aeronautics and Engineering during the Board鈥檚 regular quarterly meeting held June 25, 2025, on the Kent Campus.
The 性福五月天 University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, at Crawford Hall on the Kent Campus.
Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:50 a.m. All 性福五月天 University campuses will be participating in this test.
性福五月天 University will hold its annual Veterans Day observance on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza.
The outdoor program, Honoring All Who Serve, will include a flag-raising ceremony conducted by a joint color guard from the university鈥檚 Army and Air Force ROTC programs, remarks from 性福五月天 President Beverly Warren and guest speakers. Retired Petty Officer 1st Class Mark Gainer, who currently serves as president of the 性福五月天 Veterans Club, will be the guest speaker.
All are invited to come and pay tribute to America鈥檚 veterans. A special invitation is extended to 性福五月天 faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military.
A reception in the Kent Student Center Kiva lobby will follow the brief program. In the event of inclement weather, the rain location will be the Kent Student Center Kiva.
