Planned Gift to Support Student-Athletes
George Jenkins, 鈥63, and his wife Gina, recently established a planned gift to create the Gina and George Jenkins Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will give preference to students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those from the Appalachian region.
Senior Wins Humanitarian Award
Senior scholarship recipient Isaac Vance, 鈥22, received the Humanitarian Award at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl football game in late December.
From Running Back to Entrepreneur
Will Matthews, 鈥19, harnessed that same dedication he exhibited in his athletic endeavors on the gridiron and channeled them into his Southern Comfort Kitchen food truck.
Supporting Our Student-Athletes
While a student-athlete, Bill Asbury fell ill with acute renal failure; 性福五月天 supported him then, and now Bill and wife Deborah support current Golden Flash student-athletes.
