The Performing Arts Center at ΠΤΈ£ΞεΤΒΜμ University at Tuscarawas has announced 15 new shows as part of its 2026–27 season, the PAC’s 16th year of bringing exceptional live performances and educational opportunities to the community. The season was unveiled during a special Member Appreciation Event.

β€œThese shows represent one of the most exciting and recognizable season announcements in our history, featuring a dynamic mix of high-profile artists and large-scale touring productions,” said David Mitchell, general manager of the Performing Arts Center. β€œSince introducing our new programming model last year, we’ve gained greater flexibility to pursue a wider range of opportunities. That flexibility has enabled us to secure exceptional performances, with additional shows still to be announced as the season unfolds.”

The Band Kansas
Legendary rockers Kansas will perform Sunday, Nov. 1

The season features an impressive lineup of rock favorites spanning multiple generations of classic hits. Progressive rock legends Kansas bring their iconic catalog, including timeless favorites such as β€œCarry On Wayward Son” and β€œDust in the Wind.” Three Dog Night, one of the most successful bands of the late 1960s and 1970s, will perform a collection of chart-topping classics that helped define an era of rock music. Fans of arena rock can experience Always Jovi, one of the nation’s premier Bon Jovi tribute acts, while Fleetwood Gold celebrates the music and legacy of Fleetwood Mac with a faithful recreation of the group's beloved songs and signature sound. Returning by popular demand, Michael Cavanaugh brings his electrifying performance honoring the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, showcasing the unforgettable songs and stories of two of the most influential singer-songwriters in popular music history.

Sawyer Brown
Sawyer Brown will ring in the New Year with a performance on Friday, Jan. 29

Country music fans can look forward to Sawyer Brown. Since 1984, the band’s high-energy performances, unwavering dedication to its fans, and commitment to staying true to its roots have made it one of country music’s most enduring acts. For more than four decades, the group’s legendary live shows have captivated audiences, with no signs of slowing down.

Fans of large-scale theatrical productions will have the opportunity to experience two internationally acclaimed touring productions. The national Broadway tour of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, the beloved six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy, brings to life the story of fast-talking salesman Harold Hill and the small town he unexpectedly transforms. Filled with memorable songs, colorful characters, and timeless charm, the production remains one of the most celebrated musicals in American theater.

Riverdance
The 30th Anniversary of Riverdance makes a stop at the PAC March 2-3

Also returning to the PAC stage is Riverdance as part of its special 30th Anniversary Tour. Since its debut, the groundbreaking Irish music and dance phenomenon has captivated audiences around the world with its innovative choreography, powerful rhythms, stunning visuals, and Grammy Award-winning music. The anniversary production reimagines the iconic show for a new generation while honoring the energy and artistry that made it a global sensation.

The PAC will also serve as a launch venue for the national tour of the brand-new production You’ve Still Got a Friend: A Musical Tribute to the Friendship of Carole King & James Taylor. Inspired by their legendary Live at the Troubadour performances and album, this intimate tribute celebrates the enduring friendship between two iconic songwriters through the music that defined a generation.

Several productions will bring the spirit of the holiday season to audiences of all ages. Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol, featuring music and lyrics by the 11-time GRAMMY Award winner, reimagines the classic Dickens tale in 1930s East Tennessee. Fans of Monty Python, Mr. Bean, and Dr. Seuss will enjoy O Christmas Tea: A British Comedy, while Luminare Christmas returns with a dazzling blend of rock music, spectacular lighting effects, and a heartwarming holiday story.

Continuing its commitment to educational outreach, the PAC will once again feature artists who provide workshop and performance opportunities for local students.

β€œOur educational programs give students the opportunity to perform side-by-side with internationally recognized artists in once-in-a-lifetime experiences on our stage,” Mitchell said. β€œThis season, we are continuing the PACK the PAC pricing initiative, which makes every ticket for designated educational outreach performances just $20.”

Artists participating in the PACK the PAC series include Simply Three, a classically trained, conservatory-honed trio known for transforming string instruments into a high-energy, genre-defying experience, and Backtrack Vocals, a New York City-based vocal group celebrated for dynamic performances that blend heart, humor, and harmony.

Continuing a popular initiative introduced last season, the PAC will once again offer Cloud Club Seating. Select balcony seats for all PAC-presented performances will be available for just $20, making world-class entertainment more affordable and accessible than ever for audiences throughout the region.

Returning for its fifth season is the popular world music and food experience that transforms the PAC lobby into an immersive cultural celebration. Passport to Brazil will feature music by Moises Borges and include a meal showcasing authentic Brazilian cuisine giving audiences the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of another culture without leaving Tuscarawas County.

β€œWe are especially pleased to welcome back the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation as our full-season sponsor,” said Dr. Brad Bielski, dean and chief administrative officer of ΠΤΈ£ΞεΤΒΜμ University at Tuscarawas. β€œWe’re also incredibly grateful for the continued support of Attorney Richard W.
