PARTA introduced CNG to the fleet in 2018, but planning for this project dates back to 2012. The fueling station is open to the public, making this sustainable and locally harvested technology available to anyone wishing to use it. At $1.99/GGE, CNG is cleaner and more affordable than traditional fuel options. The PARTA CNG station is open Monday—Friday 5am—11pm and Saturday from 8am—8pm.
