WellHub & Wellness Library
WellHub
Visit the Well Hub at the SRWC for:
- Wellness education to boost your knowledge and skills.
- Wellness activities to support your well-being.
- A relaxing space to unwind and recharge.
- Safer sex supplies for your health and safety needs.
- Free wellness items to try from the Wellness Library.
We’re here to support your wellness journey!
Wellness Library
Check out free wellness items to be able to try before you buy or explore a new positive hobby. Examples include:
- Sound machines
- Black out curtains
- Board games
- Puzzles & more!

Relax Space
Your spot to rest, recharge, or reset between workouts or classes. Stop by the WellHub for more information.
- Meditation + Relaxation Pod
- Quiet space for downtime or telehealth
- 1-on-1 space with Certified Peer Educators
- Walk-in or appointment
- Wellness is more than a workout.
Availability begins Tuesday, Sept. 2. Bookings take priority, but walk-ins are welcome when space is available.
How to Reserve:
- Book 30-minute sessions online or stop by the WellHub.
- Typical Weekly Booking Hours: (RelaxSpace follows WellHub hours)
- Monday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Membership Requirement:
- A free RelaxSpace Membership is required for bookings.
- Available to all ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì students, faculty, and staff—no SRWC membership needed.
- Available to community members with an active SRWC membership at no additional cost.
- Students with fewer than 5 Kent Campus credit hours, faculty/staff, and community members can stop by the WellHub or call Matt Jones at 330-672-1447 to have the RelaxSpace membership added.

RelaxSpace Wellness Pod Options:
- Travel & Nature Videos (with Soundscapes)
Users can escape with the soothing sounds of nature or mesmerizing sights of cities across the world — all from the comfort and convenience of a RelaxSpace Wellness Pod. - Scent Infusion
From fresh pine to tropical coconut, users have the option of accompanying their experience with scent infusions specifically targeted to reduce stress and enhance relaxation. - Meditation & Breathing Exercises
RelaxSpace Wellness Pods allow users to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reset their minds and refresh their bodies with calming meditation and breathing exercises. - Heart-Rate Monitoring
Users can track their state of relaxation during each session, allowing them to be more mindful of stress levels, more aware of their presence and more in control of their state of mind. - Healthy Living & Self-Improvement Tips
RelaxSpace Wellness Pods offer users the option of learning more about how to best fuel their bodies — providing tips on proper nutrition, the benefits of exercise and healthy ways to become more physically fit. - Heat Therapy
Users can soothe sore muscles or an achy back during any session with built-in heated seats. Or, if preferred, users can turn on their overhead fan for a cool breeze while relaxing.

Tobacco Cessation Services
This free service supports ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University’s mission of being a tobacco-free campus by providing resources for tobacco and vaping cessation. Interested participants can call 330-672-5769 or email ksow@kent.edu to register and take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle.

Individual Assistance
Staff members and Peer Educators are available to address questions on a variety of health related topics. Safer Sex Supplies
The ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì of Well-being and ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Undergraduate Student Government provide free, external condoms located in dispensers at the following locations:
- Kent Student Center: First floor Men's Restroom
- Kent Student Center: First floor Women's Restroom
- Kent Student Center: Third floor Universal Restroom
- Tri-Towers Rotunda: First floor Men's Restroom
- Tri-Towers Rotunda: First floor Women's Restroom
- Design Innovation Hub: Universal Restroom, Room 225
- DeWeese Health Center
- Student Recreation and Wellness Center: Well Hub
- The Well Hub has internal condoms, external condoms, dental dams, lubricant with large sizes and non-latex options.
How do I use:
If you are staff, faculty, an RA/RD or a registered student organization, please contact us if you have interest in a presentation or safer sex supplies for your class or group.
