KSU Emergency Services Dispatcher job descriptions: 

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• No convictions for violent criminal offenses
• Multitasking, technological, and typing skills
• Good communication skills

Emergency Services Dispatchers must complete a three-month in-service training program along with certification classes for Public Safety Telecommunicator and Emergency Medical Dispatcher.  The certification class will be provided and paid for by the agency.
