2024 Black Squirrel Festival.

  Squirrels rule! Flashes are invited to celebrate 性福五月天's famous black squirrels at the annual Black Squirrel Festival from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, on Risman Plaza.    Scamper on over for food, music, games, tabling by local businesses and student organizations, and an opportunity for students to get a free t-shirt!  The event is presented by Flashes Activities Board and the Center for Student Involvement. Ribbon Cutting of the Haymaker Community Poem

性福五月天 University鈥檚 Wick Poetry Center recently helped create a new mural for the Haymaker Farmers鈥 Market.According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the new mural, located in downtown Kent on Franklin Avenue, is now the largest mural in Portage County and pays homage to both farmers and shoppers alike.  The design now features the 鈥淗aymaker Community Poem,鈥 a project launched by the Wick Poetry Center that drew inspiration from shoppers and vendors who submitted poems for the market鈥檚 30th anniversary.鈥淲e were thrilled to create the website and prompts, to gather a harvest of voices cele...
