INFORMATION ABOUT THE STEPS TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOOL OF FASHION STUDY AWAY APPLICATION

How to Apply for the School of Fashion Study Away Experiences?

1. Submit a School of Fashion Study Away Application: December 1, 2026, through December 15, 2026.
   • Students select their top two study away program choices but will only be selected for one study away program. As a selective program, the Hong Kong Exchange program does not count as one of your two choices.
   • Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
   • Students may submit the School of Fashion Extended Study Away Application if they wish to participate in multiple study-away experiences in the same academic year.
2. In early January, the School of Fashion Study Away Coordinator will notify students of their study away program acceptance.
3. ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì study away programs (NYC, Florence, LA) require a School of Fashion Study Away Deposit. The $250 deposit is due January 15, 2027.
4. Partnership study away programs (London, Paris, South Korea, Hong Kong) require students to apply and be accepted into the partnership institution. Participation in the program requires the partnership school’s acceptance of your application.
5. All international programs (London, Paris, South Korea, Hong Kong, Florence) require students to complete an Office of Global Education program application.
6. The School of Fashion Extended Study Away Application will be available after January 15, 2027. Students may apply to all their remaining study away interests in Summer 2027, Fall 2027, and Spring 2028. Multiple programs and semesters can be selected on one application.
   • Only programs with available seats will be included on the extended application. Once a program’s capacity is reached, no more students will be accepted into the program.
   • Who completes the extended application:
     • Students who plan to study away at multiple locations in the same academic year.
     • Students who miss the initial study away application.
     • Students who wish to change their accepted study away program location.
