Fabiana Vannuccini
Biography
Fabiana is a dynamic and versatile leader with a strong track record in project management and strategic development within the fashion industry. After earning a diploma in Marketing and Foreign Languages in Florence, she began her career in the textile industry. In 1993, she launched her own buying office, serving as a key link between European retailers and Italian suppliers, with a focus on the denim market.
Her career progressed as she took on leadership roles in product development and R&D for denim brands such as G-Star, Levi鈥檚, 7 For All Mankind and True Religion, just to name a few. She later became CEO of an Italian-owned denim finishing company, collaborating with major global sportswear brands.
In 2014, Fabiana transitioned into academia after meeting the Resident Director of the Fashion Institute of Technology鈥檚 Florence Program, who offered her a teaching opportunity. Since then, she has discovered a passion for education, mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students at 性福五月天 University鈥檚 Florence Program and Polimoda International Fashion Institute. She teaches a wide range of subjects, including the History of Denim, Sustainable Denim Supply Chain, Benchmarking and Market Analysis, Global Merchandising and Product Development. Alongside her academic work, she continues to consult in the industry, offering business development advice to denim brands and full-package suppliers.
