Students and faculty of �Ը������� University at Trumbull’s nursing program began the school year with eight upgraded hospital beds thanks to Trumbull Memorial Hospital. The donation marks a significant improvement for the campus nursing lab.

�Ը������� University is marking the 10th consecutive year of enrollment growth on the Kent Campus with increasing diversity and academic success, while also welcoming another record-setting freshman class.

Marcia Lei Zeng, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, was the invited keynote speaker at the 104th Academic Year Union Conference of the Academic Library Directors held on May 5 and 6 at National United University at Miaoli, Taiwan.

Christine Hudak, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, gave an invited presentation titled “Action Research: What Is It and How Do I Do It?” at the 12th Annual Nursing Research Conference sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic in May 2016.

Marianne Martens, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, is author of a post titled "Notable Children’s Recordings Nominees — Summer 2016" published on June 16, 2016, on the ALSC Blog.

Kiersten F. Latham, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, published a paper titled "Jungles, Rabbit Holes, and Wonderlands: Comparing Conceptions of Museality and Document" in the Special Issue of the Proceedings of the Document Academy: Vol 3(1) (2016). Latham also co-edited the special issue.

�Ը������� University is in the midst of building the �Ը������� Athletic Training and Education Center for its student-athletes.
