This evening’s program highlights the beauty and versatility of the orchestra’s different sections:

• Our Strings will shine in the emotional Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber and the rhythmic elegance of Karl Jenkins’ Palladio.
• Our Brass section will dazzle with the bold brilliance of Paul Dukas’ La Péri Fanfare and Giovanni Gabrieli’s Canzona per Sonare No. 2.
• Our Woodwinds will charm with Richard Strauss’ Serenade for Winds, Op. 7 and Franz Schubert’s Finale from Little Symphony for Winds.

Adding to the magic, the Tuscarawas Philharmonic Chorus will be featured in a moving performance of Fern Hill by John Corigliano.

In keeping with our mission to support and uplift young musicians, we are thrilled to welcome the Dover High School Chamber Orchestra as our special guest. These talented students will join our musicians on stage for select works throughout the evening—an inspiring collaboration across generations.
