Graduate College Teaching Badges
College Teaching Badging Program
You are working hard to become a better instructor, and we want to recognize you for it! The Graduate College and Center for Teaching & Learning are proud to present our new College Teaching Badging Program. Each badge requires you to complete a variety of tasks related to a distinct teaching topic. These tasks build upon each other to take you through Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning. First, you will learn something, then you will be asked to apply your learning. Next, you will be asked to evaluate and/or analyze some aspect of teaching before finally creating your own teaching materials
or plans.
To earn one of the College Teaching Badges, you must complete all associated tasks for that badge. You may complete these tasks at any time during your graduate career. All submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, with feedback offered and completion certified twice per month by a staff member in the Center for Teaching & Learning. You do not need to be an instructor or teaching assistant to participate. There is no time limit for this program. Each badge should take an estimated 6-8 hours to complete.
